Very friendly staff, ended up coming here on short notice in a winter storm. Room was clean and had all of the amenities I needed including refrigerator and microwave at a very affordable price. Highly recommended if you need a place to stop for the night.
This is a mom and pop lodge style hotel run by a family. They are very kind and understanding. Definitely worth staying in town when you have family functions or other reasons. The rooms are your basic lodge rooms with double or king sized beds. They are basic but clean and well maintained.
I give it 4 stars only because they are in the process of getting the place fixed up and something is always in a state of repair. Other than that, The Ice House is a great place to stay with family or alone on vacation or going through town. Family owned and operated, nice clean rooms and easy access to the upper floors. I recommend it to anyone needing a room on the fly or staying for a length of time.
